The ATR421 Multi-Cycle Temperature Controller is a versatile 1/8 DIN panel-mounted device designed for precise temperature and process control across various industrial applications. Capable of handling up to 15 different cycles, with each cycle comprising up to 45 steps, the ATR421 offers exceptional flexibility in managing complex processes.
Equipped with a digital input, up to four relays, and options for voltage, current, and Modbus RS485 outputs, the ATR421 is engineered for seamless integration into a wide range of systems. It accepts inputs from a variety of sensors, including K, J, S, and R-type thermocouples, Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000, and Ni100 RTDs, as well as PTC1K and NTC10K thermistors. Additionally, the ATR421 supports 4-20mA, 0-20mA, and 0-10V sensor inputs, along with potentiometer inputs, ensuring compatibility with numerous industrial sensors.
The ATR421 features two four-digit displays, one dedicated to the process variable and the other to the set point, providing clear and immediate feedback. Its compact 1/8 DIN (48 x 96 mm) design is complemented by an optional IP65-rated gasket, allowing it to withstand challenging environmental conditions.
Programming the ATR421 is straightforward, with options for front panel keypad operation or PC-based software. The ability to clone configurations across multiple units using a memory card enhances setup efficiency, especially in large-scale applications. Furthermore, the PC-based software can be utilized for monitoring and managing multiple temperature controllers simultaneously. The ATR421 ensures optimal control through its advanced PID algorithm with auto-tuning capabilities, delivering consistent and reliable performance.
